107. Gobhi Manchurian

107.    Gobhi Manchurian-

·        Cut Cauliflower into big pieces.
·        Take water in a huge vessel and boil it.
·        While it’s boiling add cauliflower pieces too.
·        Add little salt about half tea spoon for medium size cauliflower and one fourth spoon of turmeric powder.
·        Keeps this vessel containing cauliflower on gas for a minute or so.
·        Sieve out the water from the vessel.
·        Take another vessel and put the cauliflower pieces in it. Add one tablespoon of besan, one tablespoon of maida and one teaspoon of cornflour. (it is used for baking purpose not makki ka ataa.)
·        Add half tea spoon of salt and a pinch of baking soda, black pepper powder.
·        Mix well and important is: Don’t add any water.
·        Take frying pan, put oil. Heat it and fry marinated gobhi pieces.
·        Take another vessel, keep it on stove, put about half table spoon oil and add finely cut big onion, two-three finely chopped green chillies, a small piece of finely chopped ginger and 10-15 flakes of garlic finely chopped.
·        When the onions turn brown, add one tablespoon of soya sauce one table spoon of brown vinegar and one table spoon of tamarind juice and one fourth cup of water.
·        Take little water separately and mix one teaspoon of corn flour. Add this too. This is the gravy.
·        After it starts boiling add fried gobhi pieces and mix them well. If u wants, u can add tomato sauce and garnish this with coriander leaves finely chopped.
