21. Snacks-
Chops-egg, Vegetable bombs, Puddings,
Potato dahi wada, vegetable kabab, stuffed cauli flower, cut let.
A.
Chops egg-
Ingredients- Potato 250 gm, corn flour 3 spoons, Eggs 6. Maida 50
gm, Salt, Chilli powder, Garam masala, Green coriander, green chilli, Cumin
seeds, Mango powder, Oil
Method- Boil eggs and cut into four pieces. Boil potato and
season with jeera and fry the potato. Mix in it masala with coriander and
chillis. Mix the corn flour. Make the small chapatti and put one piece of egg
and close it. Make the mixture of maida and dip them and fry.
Option
two- Instead of egg, paneer or peas can be taken for stuffing. We can use
ginger and onion in potato mixture and can mix bread crumbs also.
B.
Vegetable Bombs-
Ingredients- Potato 500 gm, mixed vegetables, Corn flour, Masala
like salt, chilli powder, coriander powder, green coriander, green chilli.
Method- Cut the vegetables into small pieces. Boil the potato
and mix corn flour. Heat the oil and mix the vegetables and cook them in low
fire. Take one layer of potato, put vegetable mixture and then close it from
sides. On top of that put one small layer of potato mixture like tomato stuffed
and bake it at 175 degree C for 20 minutes. We can put khas-khas layer on last
potato layer.
C. Monacco biscuits, then paneer and then pine apple
piece. Stick them in this order with tooth pick and serve them.
D.
Pudding-
Ingredients- Bake any cake, custard, jelly, marie biscuit or
wafers biscuits.
Method-
In borosil square vessel, put the thin
layer of cake, then layer of custard, layer of wafer or marie biscuits, layer
of jelly then custard. Decorate it with some dry fruits.
E.
Pudding-
Ingredients- Cream 250 gm, 50 gm grapes, ¼ pomegranate , 1 apple,
1 orange, sugar 2 ½ spoon.
Method- First grinds the sugar. Wash all the fruits and cut
them into small pieces. Mix all the ingredients and decorate it with dry
fruits.
F. Boil the potatoes and mix the bread crumbs with
masala on top of it. Fry it serve as dahi vara.
G.
Vegetable kabab-
Ingredients- Garlic 5-6, 1 Onion, 2-3 boiled potatoes, peas.
Method-
In the vessel first fries the garlic and
onions. Mix potatoes and peas. Mix the masalas. Give the shape of kabab and
bake it. Give the shape of kabab with the help of oil.
H.
Stuffed Cauli Flower
Ingredients- Peas, carrot, tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger,
masalas, one cauliflower.
Method- Put the whole cauli flower in hot water for some time
then take out full water. Let it dry. Make masala with onion, garlic, ginger,
peas and carrot. Stuff it in cauli flower and bake it. Instead of the
vegetables paneer stuffing also can be done.
I.
Vegetable and Kheema Cutlet-
Ingredients- Kheema ½ kg, 1 egg. Ajinometo powder ¼ spoon, 3-4 tea
spoon maida, corn flour 1 table spoon, salt , soya sauce one tea spoon, chilli
powder.
Method- Squeeze the kheema. Put all the ingredients. Mix them
nicely. Make flat ball and fry them in shallow oil. Potato, coriander leaves
and chopped curry leaves also can be added in this. For vegetable cutlet, beet
root, beans, carrot, cabbage and small potatoes with onions can be used.
J. Snacks
with GROUNDNUTS -
1. Take the peeled groundnuts. Sprinkle little water on
groundnuts and add salt according to taste, mix it and soak this for some time.
Then put this for 3 minutes in microwave. Then again mix it and keep this in
micro wave for 3 minutes.
2. Put the groundnuts in water for 10-15 minutes then
take out the water and dry the groundnuts. Add salt in it and cook it in
microwave.
3. Take one tsp oil and add in this salt and chilli powder.
Mix the groundnuts in this mixture and keep this for 5-10 minutes and then
microwave it and mix them while cooking too.
